Temporary supports holding up the old deck while the dry rot at the edge of the dining room and in that ceiling is addresses. What a graphic illustration that water is not always your friend!
Dry Rot above the window in the downstairs bedroom. Further investigation showed that when we pull the deck off, the bedroom will have to be opened up and ceiling fixed...the extent of that damage isn't known at this point. Disheartening.
These tomatoes were the highlight of the day and were delicious in my dinner salad last night. Now to make some salsa!
