And finally for the weekend, plywood put down over the new joists in the dining room floor! No danger of anyone falling down on the dogs!
New bedroom window put into place after the new header was installed. All these windows turned out to be a bit bigger than the original openings making for interesting and creative installs!
Looking down thru the dining room floor onto the temporary supports in the dog room. I know it is now the laundry room, but it will probably always be the dog room to me, not to mention the dogs!
I think you had to be here to appreciate this shot...I was standing down in the dog room, looking up thru the removed ceiling/floor of the dining room to the ceiling of the dining room with the skylights cut out. Very disorienting.
Probing the wall...Trent was right...when he first saw how the deck was attached to the side of the house he feared problems here. They will have to be addressed when all work in the dining room is done and the deck is torn off...I bet this wall will be the last to get the siding up.
