DAY 38...Maybe I should go out to lunch more often!

This evening the scaffolding went up so the loft windows can be installed tomorrow. They will have some of the same issues as the kitchen windows about depth, but I have faith that the installation will go as smoothly. In fact, I am going out to lunch again tomorrow, just to make sure everything works. First though, the computer, keyboard and assorted items will have to be covered up and moved out of the way...then the work can begin. After this there will just be the two downstairs bedroom windows to install plus a couple of sliders. Feels like as far as the windows go, there is an end insight...but many details remain.......yikes.

The plywood sheeting on the roof, is just inches from being done. I don't know if it was the high thin clouds that were floating over all morning or the fact that we didn't have Daniel and Jose doing other stuff, but they really got a lot of plywood down today. Looks wonderful.
New kitchen windows from the outside...very handsome with the door and bathroom windows in place.
Todd using what I at first thought was a fishing pole, to drill a hole for the new light over the stove. This drill was a very scary item when I looked at it closely. Hope this fixture gets here soon.
The kitchen windows come out with no damage to either the Caesarstone sill or the 'Lyptus trim. Amazing work. By the time I came back from lunch, the windows were in place and soon the trim will be back as well. And guess what? The kitchen looked just about as good as new when they were done.
