DAY 9...Nests

This is some of the material we found under the roofing. The tubular rolls are oak leaves, all nested deep in the insulation. They are apparently home to larva, small worm like critters. We think these might be the cause of the periodic moth infestations that occur here. Thank God that the Slynx loves to capture and eat the moths...but hopefully we won't have so many of them in the future. The tubes look a lot like small cigars they are so carefully torn and wrapped so tightly.
Wonder what tomorrow will bring? The oak tree that is impinging on the house will come down...it will be a different view and shade situation.
