Dennis and Mike Boyce welding the first steps onto the giant beam.
The lights that Rick and RJ made...part store bought and part fabricated.
And the steps march on.
Fabulous daffodils this spring.
The recycle/garbage enclosure is done and is a real joy to use with the zerk fittings...the door opens easily and it is very spacious. The real test will come tomorrow when I pull out the bins for Monday am pick up!
Tending to details in the house, Rick did all the tiny things that still remained in the house...coat rack in the hall...dot of glue on the rolling door, filled in some mortar and finally got that dang blue tape off the door frame and sealed the jam.
And even made time to hang a piece of art in the bathroom. Looks great.
Swiping down the light pole so it will weather a little faster. I will be curious to see how it weathers in the rain tomorrow.
Danny and Jose putting up the beautiful steel plate with my house numbers on it. It is a work of art.
Tiny white blossoms, a little plum tree volunteer.
The Bees were out in force too.
The front of the house with the foo dogs back in their places.
Looking down the stairs.
Up the stairs
On the Ipe deck at the front door.
Thai foo dogs at the slider.
A corner under the deck...trying to move orphaned rocks and plants into a pleasing arrangement. They were all on the deck or in the front yard but now are finding new homes.
The almost finished stair case...one railing to go, then the wood on all the treads and on the hand rail, as well as on the landing. The concrete will get stained and there will be a gate to control access.

Oh, wow. I love the little Buddha placement and of course the foo dogs. The house numbers and the recycle enclosure are just great! The lights turned out perfect! Good job, Rick et al. And I am thrilled to hear the blue tape is gone!
