Happy New Year...first beer on the deck. I like this photo of Judy and KOKO and the self-portrait.
Obviously, this is not the actual decking, just plywood put down while they are working, but at least I can step outside now for the first time in about four months. I am pointing at KOKO in case you didn't see her in the top photo...she is not allowed on the deck at this point. So high, no railings...it scares me to be out there....
Scaffolding went back up on Monday for the umpteenth time as the welding of the wrap and door shades is due to start today. Should be interesting, but darn it, I will not be home to record it all. Hopefully they will be hard at it when I get back.
Another shot of the deck from the far corner of the yard. Today it will be wrapped in paper and then the metal sheeting will go up. I am sure we will have to order more ASAP! Need to talk about that at tomorrow's meeting.
It will be a race as to who gets to use up the metal first, as the roof of the shed is going up so fast and is almost done as well. Is it a race?
