This photo, again shows how hard it is to put up this siding having to cut around every little opening in the house, like the satellite and internet cables, the dryer vent, the pipes from the washer and so on. Everything has to be perfect, and I can tell you, as we work on the last wall, it will be. Amazing team.
This morning, my custom Hunter Douglas Shades that everyone warned me might not fit the new windows were reinstalled...and YAY, they all fit. Now to order a few more...have to call Jim Salmina on Monday to come out and take measurements.
Forms for the footings for the deck. Whew! And check out the drawing below...how complicated can it be to have a deck that doesn't wobble and webble like my old one did? Pretty dang complicated...glad someone else has to read this drawings and get it right. Thanks Trent, Mat and Rick.
I was wobbling at having to cross the deck though I could stand on it, so this afternoon, Andres and Mat put up some railings so the next set of visitors can come in the front door.
Koko, basking in the amazing sunshine on this warm warm day. When we walked out to the main road at 6:30 this morning, it was so calm, warm and silent...a beautiful morning.
The wires hanging out, which so alarmed me, have been explained...there will be a box around them and they won't hold up any of the ongoing work, which is marching right along this last wall. Most of them are for the exterior lighting, and everyone knows how it works? Yes, I have faith.

Oh, what a beautiful update. I feel like I've missed so much and I was just there...Tuesday. Trent is right, it is going kind of fast AND it just looks great! The weather is a blessing for the guys, hope they keep up the pace, and I bet they hope the weather continues. Love the KoKo and dancing Shiva pics. Stuart does need to make an appearance. Last wall, whew.
