KOKO investigating the trench...Tuesday Brian and Ken come back to hook up the two new panels to the new solar power back up system...then it will be done! And on Thursday, Stuart will put KOKO's dessert back in the ground where it belongs with a lot of daffodils that are just itching to get into the ground!
First dinner in the dining room...Luke arrived and even though the lights were not hooked up yet, I was able to find a candle and we enjoyed the new room.
Friday the cut panels arrive for the bathroom. Excuse the blue tape holding them together...they will get all sealed in place on Monday hopefully. Didn't stop me from taking my first shower this am. I had to cart some stuff up from the downstairs bathroom, and learned somethings right away! I need some benches and stools made first thing...there is no place to put my clothes for starters...though I supposed the closets might work for that. I had to adjust the water temp, but now I think I have it set perfectly for myself. That big shower head was really wonderful...I am usually a four minute shower person, but I def. lingered today.
I used the new towel warmer and even hung my robe on it, so it was great coming out of the shower. I didn't preheat the floor enough but it was still warmer than the hallway. I think the whole bathroom will be a lot warmer once the sliding door is in place...I can wait to see that now that I see the room divider.
As to the extent of the water, as you can see here, it did come a bit out of the shower area onto the first big tiles, but most of that is from me, reaching for the towel on that heated rack.
So lots of firsts, and I look for many more in the weeks to come. One first that I am not sure about are the two lights in the bathroom on the sensor! They come on when KOKO goes to the front door to check for Intruders, and possibly when the cat comes to the front door to look in. They def. come on when anyone comes to the front door or walks past...It bugs me...I am a turn off the light leaving the room, right away type of person. On the other hand, it is really neat to have them come on when you enter, esp. at night...really like that.

Oh, my those completions are excellent. I love the room dividers and envy the show stuff. A warm robe would be wonderful. The dining room is beautiful!
