It is very hard to photograph the rose colored/copper colored fittings in the bathroom...I will take close ups later, but am so jazzed with what i see...the rain shower head just wouldn't fit in this, but while I was gone, it rained right onto Rick's head, and soaked him head to toe when he turned on the Thermonuclear device. His hair was still on end when I got home...and no one would get into the shower with him!
And the siding marches on...in this one you get the full effect but can also see the detail around the window. What a pain for Danny and Jose...but luckily, they only have one more window and slider on this side...and one electrical outlet.
For shower geeks, this is the drain in the shower...a trench drain I believe it is called...so very cool, and it works!
The heated towel rack/radiant heater...it looks coppery but it just picks up the tile...now to get that damned white window painted sooner rather than later.
The tile is so hard that I can't begin to tell you how many drill bits were eaten up putting up the fixtures...the shower wand, the grab bar, the tower reader, the toilet paper holder and last but not least, the magazine rack! I totally forgot to order small towel racks, but at least they will go on a non tiled wall. And speaking of towels, when I got to SR on Tuesday and St. Helena on Monday, I will be looking for the perfect towels and lots of them.
Ah, the counter is curing, but we couldn't resist putting the sink in place for overnight...the blue tape will be gone tomorrow, and while the sink sort of calls out for a human sacrifice, I think I can make do with lots of flowers...lots and lots of fresh flowers. I might have to move in this bathroom, esp. when I feel that heated floor on my long skinny bare feet!
